Notes
  • Reference
Authors discuss Low (low rate) as a locus; Low is considered an allele of T.
  • Experiment
The proximal t-complex deletion mutants TOR, TOrl and THp, which all cover the T locus, were used in homozygous and heterozygous combinations to analyze the effects of these deletions on embryonic development. The regions of Chromosome 17 deleted by these mutants were also described. The TOR deletion covers about 2 - 3 cM to include T distal to a point proximal to qk. The TOrl deletion covers 3-4 cM including T and qk and ending at a point proximal to Tcp1. The THp deletion covers about 4 - 5 cM and includes T distal to a point past Tcp1, deleting at least qk and Tcp1.
