Notes
  • Reference
    Revised gene symbols: DYByu1, DYByu2, DYByu3, DYByu4, DYByu5, DYByu6, DYByu7 and DYByu8 (formerly D0Byu1, D0Byu2, D0Byu3, D0Byu4, D0Byu5, D0Byu6, D0Byu7 and D0Byu8, respectively).
  • Experiment
RAPD (random amplification of polymorphic DNA) reactions were performed with 8 markers and their defining primers. The loci were DYByu1, DYByu2, DYByu3, DYByu4, DYByu5, DYByu6, DYByu7 and DYByu8. In each reciprocal hybrid between C57BL/6J and DBA/2J (B6D2F1 and D2B6F1) 100% concordance was observed between the male mice and the 8 markers. This indicates linkage of the 8 markers to the Y Chromosome.
