Notes
  • Experiment
Pcna was localized to Chromosome 2 by the detection of the 562 bp PCR amplified Pcna band produced from mouse x hamster somatic cell hybrid EBS-18AZ DNA. Hybrid EBS-18AZ carries Chromosome 2 as its only mouse genetic material. Pcna was localized cytogentically between bands C1 and H1 by analysis of somatic cell hybrids 13H 3-1 containing Chromosome 2 distal to the T(2;4)31H breakpoint, 13H 10-1 containing Chromosome 2 proximal to the T(2;4)31H breakpoint, and Sn 3-1 containing Chromosome 2 proximal to the T(2;4)1Sn breakpoint.
