Cbx-rs1 Southern analysis M31

  • Reference
Revised gene symbol: Amel (formerly Amg).
  • Experiment
Three mouse x Chinese hamster somatic cell hybrids, B20C12, EL1 and N15, that carry X Chromosome material proximal to the translocation breakpoints for T16H, T14Rl and T6Rl respectively were used to map Cbx-rs1. All three translocations have breakpoints proximal to X locus DXPas1. The hybrids did not carry the 4.5 kb hybridizing X linked C57BL/10 allele of Cbx-rs1, thus indicating a locus for Cbx-rs1 distal to DXPas1.
