    15 Chinese hamster x mouse somatic cell hybrids were analyzed. The one hybrid, HM102, discordant between Cchl2a and Chromosome 5 contains a translocated segment of distal Chromosome 5. The absence of Cchl2a in this hybrid suggests that the gene is in theproximal region of Chromosome 5.
