Experiment

Using probe 6-2-1, a PvuII RFLV was detected in the interspecific backcross. This variant cosegregated with Scn5a (1/77 recombinants) indicating that the probe is cross-hybridizing to Scn5a or that another Scna locus is closely linked to Scn5a.
