  PstI digested DNAs from (AN x M. spretus)F1 x AN mice were analyzed. When probed with pAHH64, female offspring contained either the 20kb AN band or both a 20kb and 18kb (M. spretus) band, as expected. Male offspring had either the 20kb or 18kb band. Thisinheritance pattern is consistent with X-linkage for the Ahcy-rs2 locus.
