GeneAlleleAssay TypeDescription
Meox1 Southern analysis Mox-1 cDNA
Notes
  • Reference
Revised gene symbols: Ahr, HoxB (formerly Ah, Hox-2 respectively).
  • Experiment
The location of Mox-1 on Chromosome 11 was initially determined in a Chinese hamster x BALB/c mouse hybrid panel. None of the somatic cell hybrids contained mouse Chromosome 11 and the mouse Mox-1 fragment was not observed on Southerns from this panel indicating that the gene may be carried on this chromosome.
