  Physical mapping and clones covering 100kb around the Plg locus were used to localize the proximal breakpoint in the t^Lub2 deletion to a fragment 30kb downstream from Plg. The t^Lub2 deletion is known to delete t^w73, thus these data suggests that Plg does not map to t^w73.
