  Southern analysis of Ta^25H/Y and C3H mice indicate that loci DXCrc131, DXCrc169 map to the region deleted by Ta²⁵ on the X Chromosome. This deleted region is defined proxiamlly by Tfm and distally by Ta and Bhd. From this study the maximum size of the deletion is 3 cM and the minimum size 0.6 cM. Hybridizing bands for DXCrc169 were also observed in man/mouse hybrid C18 that carries Chromosome X as the only mouse chromosome.
