• Experiment
  Southern analysis revealed that the Mtv locus that segregates with the Chromosome 11 gene Mtv3 in (B10.S(9R) x NOD)F1 x B10.BR (Fairchild, et al., Immunogenetics 34:227-230, 1991) was of NOD origin. Nine of 10 male NOD mice were observed to share an extra Mtv band with the 3kb Mtv3 band. This Mtv locus is called Mtv45 in this reference
