Experiment

Southern analysis of DNA from (CBA-T6 x NZW)F1 x CBA mice indicate the presence of 2.8kb EcoRI band that identifies Mtv44. Mtv44 encodes a superantigen that deletes Tcrb-V3+ T cells in NZW mice.
