  Random DNA clones from Chromosome 17 were tested on members of the T-complex lethal complementation group t9. The t⁹ group includes t^w18, t^w52, t^ks1 and t⁴. Complete t haplotype t^w5 was also analyzed. Restriction analysis indicate that loci D17Leh443, D17Leh94, D17Leh54 and D17Leh180 are deleted in t^w18. Loci D17Leh89, D17Leh467 and D17Leh525 were duplicated in t^w18 as compared with haplotype t^w5. Further restriction analysis indicate that D17Leh443 and D17Leh54 are deleted and D17Leh89, D17Leh467 and D17Leh525 duplicated in the t⁴ and t^ks1 haplotypes. D17Leh111 was also detected in t^w18.
