  • Experiment
Random DNA clones from Chromosome 17 were tested on members of the T-complex lethal complementation group t9. The t9 group includes tw18, tw52, tks1 and t4. Complete t haplotype tw5 was also analyzed. Restriction analysis indicate that loci D17Leh443, D17Leh94, D17Leh54 and D17Leh180 are deleted in tw18. Loci D17Leh89, D17Leh467 and D17Leh525 were duplicated in tw18 as compared with haplotype tw5. Further restriction analysis indicate that D17Leh443 and D17Leh54 are deleted and D17Leh89, D17Leh467 and D17Leh525 duplicated in the t4 and tks1 haplotypes. D17Leh111 was also detected in tw18.
