  Segregation of Gdf3 was followed in 72 offspring of a (C57BL/6 x M. spretus)F1 x C57BL/6 backcross. Gdf3 was mapped to distal Chromosome 6 with distances as follows: centromere - Gapdh - 1.4 +/- 1.4 cM - Gdf3 - 7.1 +/- 3.0 cM - Kap. (No data presented).
