Notes
  • Experiment
The Tcr1 locus was mapped using partial t-haplotypes and a transgenic line which contained the entire Tcp10b gene. Authors conclude that Tcr1 lies between the breakpoints in t-haplotypes tw71Jr1 and th49, a 40-155kb segment. Tcr1 is distal to the tw71Jr1 breakpoint. Further analysis, using sets of recombinant t-haplotypes indicate that Tcr1 activity lies in a 40kb segment which includes the 3' end of Tcp10b. Tcp10b is a candidate gene for Tcr1.
