  F1 mice that were derived from a series of B10.H2 congenics mated to A.By were tested for their response to FV (Friend murine leukemia helper virus). Mice that differed significantly in their susceptibility to FV also expressed different alleles at the Q and T regions of the H2 complex. Rfv2 is the gene that controls this susceptibility and thus maps in the Q/T region.
