Tcp1 in situ hybridization pB1.4
Notes
  • Reference
The data presented here extends the proximal boundary of the t-inversion into all of band A2, and into A1. The text idiogram gave no detectable change in G-banding for the t-inversion because the inversion involves a dark band to dark band exchange. Authors use Qa-2,3 for H-2Q2 and H-2Q3.
  • Experiment
The in situ data here is derived from a Chromosome 17 carrying the inverted t-haplotype th2, as is used to define the borders of the t-inversion. The location of Tcp-1 is proximal to that found on a normal Chromosome 17. The idiogram provided hybridization of grains to the relevant segment of Chromosome 17.
