  During the derivation of various H2 congenic strains, the gene for Ggm1 was cotransferred with H2 from the host to the donor strain. Further analysis of congenics carrying a recombination in the H2 region demonstrated that Ggm1 maps outside of H2 and centromeric to H2-K.
