• Experiment
  A panel of 18 already characterized E36 Chinese hamster x mouse somatic cell hybrids were used to map Hspa1a and Hspa1l to mouse Chromosome 17 with 7% discordancy for both loci. A single cell line, HM86, lacked a Chromosome 17 marker and was not karotyped for Hspa1l.
