• Experiment
  Physical mapping using cosmid clone cos10 demonstrated that Hoxa10 and Hoxa9 map approximately 17kb and 9kb upstream from Hoxa7, respectively. These homeoboxes are oriented in the same direction on the cosmid. These results were confirmed using clone cos8 which overlaps cos10.
