• Experiment
  A rat grr probe hybridized to cosmids derived from the Tla region of mouse Chromosome 17. The two most informative clones were c59.3 and 37-16. In cosmid c59.3 the probe hybridized to a 3kb region approximately 400 bps upstream of H2-T11, and in cosmid 37-16 to a 2.7kb region upstream of H2-T23. The locus c59.3 is identified as Grr1 and resides between H2-T10 and H2-T11. The locus on 37-16 is identified as Grr2 and resides between H2-T22 and H2-T23.
