  The Rps18 locus on Chromosome 17 was identified on a 9.2kb KpnI fragment derived from cosmid 19. Cosmid 19 represents DNA that is proximal to H2-K and includes H2-K2 sequences. Rps18 is proximal to H2-K2 indicating a gene order of Rps18 - H2-K2 - H2-K.
