Notes
  • Experiment
The occurence of lipofuscinosis (Bsp - black pigment of the spleen) occurred in all sublines and stocks tested that were derived from the C57BL strain of mouse. There was a significant association between the non-C57BL allele of Bsp and albino (c) and a congenic stock segregating for pink-eye (p). Chi square for c and p tests show a value of P <0.001. The presence of a C57BL allele is required for lipofuscinosis, however it is unlinked.
