    The testes of 67 intercross progeny males (MOLF/Ei x 129-Ter/+)F1 x (MOLF/Ei x 129-Ter/+)F1 were typed for 12 SSLP markers on chromosome 18. Using the QTL (quantitative trait locus) program the peak of the likelihood curve (lod score = 3.75) was near D18Mit62 showing candidate linkage between the marker and testicular teratomas. Gene order and recombination frequeny was determined to be as follows: D18Mit66 - 0.062 - D18Mit21 - 0.092 - D18Mit27 - 0.115 - D18Mit62 - 0.168 - D18Mit70 - 0.198 - D18Mit12 - 0.221 D18Mit14/D18Mit23/D18Mit57 - 0.349 - D18Mit51 - 0.427 D18Mit7 - 0.481 - D18Mit25.
