    38 RI strains from BXD and AKXL lines were analyzed to map Acy1 to mouse Chromosome 9. The strain distribution pattern of Acy1 was compared to Mod1, Kfo1, Ltw3, Fv2 and Bgl-s. Acy1 did not recombine with Kfo1 or Ltw3. The distance between Acy1 and Bgl-s was estimated at 10.7 +/- 6.2 map units. The map unit is described in Haldane, J.B.S., et al., Genetics 16:357-374, 1931.
