Atp7a Atp7aMo restriction analysis Mo cDNA
Pgk1 restriction analysis C15.F1, C96.G2
Notes
  • Reference
Authors state the Mo mouse is the murine model for Menkes disease. The candidate gene for mottled is Atp7a.
  • Experiment
Two previously identified YAC clones which carry the Pgk1 gene were tested. All the restriction fragments detected by the Mo cDNA probe in genomic DNA were also present in the two YAC clones. This indicates that the Atp7a gene is located at the Mo locus site and is linked to Pgk1.
