• Experiment
  A cosmid library was constructed from cadmium-resistant hepa1A cells. This cosmid library was screened with lambda clones containing mouse Mt1, Mt2 and Mt3 genes, resulting in the isolation of a cosmid of approximately 80kb. This 80kb cosmid contained inorder genes Mt1, Mt2 and Mt3 and a previously unidentified gene, Mt4, located 20kb upstream from Mt3.
