Notes
  • Experiment
Strains BALB/c and congenic BALB.D2-Mlsa were found to differ at a histocompatibility locus distinct from Mls. Typing of DBA/2 excluded H25 as the candidate histocompatibility locus. The locus, H48, was believed to be linked to Mls on Chromosome 1 due to the allele carried by the BALB.D2-Mlsa congenic. H48 was later mapped to Chromosome 2 (J18840 Immunogenetics 1994; 40:21).
