  Analysis of F2 progeny from an intercross between AKR/J x SWR/J mice was done for Quantitative trait locus (QTL). Results of the analysis indicate that the locus for dietary obesity (Dob1) maps distal to db on Chromosome 4 with a LOD score of 4.4. The authors determined the order of loci in this region to be D4Mit5, db, Dob1, D4Mit11.
