Notes
  • Reference
The R4 cell line contains three copies of Chromosome 5 and no Y Chromosome but has no other apparent rearrangements. After analyzing this cell line, the authors also tested two other cell types to confirm their results. The T(10;13)199H stock carries a translocation between Chromosomes 10 and 13 while the Ag cells contain telomeric marker Chromosomes as well as biarmed Robertsonian fusion chromosomes. Their results suggest that mouse minor satellite DNA is present at every active mouse centromeric regionexcept on the Y Chromosome.
