    155(DBA/1J X FVB/N)F2 mice were informative in mapping Collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) in mice. DBA/1J mice are susceptible to CIA whereas FVB/N mice are resistant. Functional capillary density (Trait =Fcd) and leukocyte-endothelial cell interactions in synovial fluid (Trait = Sticker) were mapped. Fcd1 mapped to mouse chromosome 8 with a LOD of 4.75 with D8Mit92, Leci1 (Sticker1) also mapped to mouse chromosome 8 with a LOD of 3.75 also with D8Mit92. Leci2 (Sticker2) mapped with D17Mit197 with a LOD of 3.67.

    eQTL analysis was also performed on genes that were differentially expressed in the lymph nodes and knees in CLA mice. The eQTL marker is listed in parenthesis as associated with the differentially expressed gene, in knee : Selp(D2Mit395.1- LOD 4.01 Second marker D16Mit138 LOD 6.01), Ccr3(D1Mit217.1 - LOD 3.02 Second marker D7Mit248.1 LOD 2.59), Defb3(D15Mit252 - LOD 2.54, Second marker D16Mit138 LOD 3.34), ll13ra1 (D17Mit180.1 LOD 2.49), Tnfa (D15Mit67 LOD 3.25), Xcl1 (D6Mit116.1 LOD2.84) and in Lymph nodes: (LN) Cd44 ( D5Mit31 LOD 3.02 ), ll13ra1 (D15Mit13.1 LOD 2.6), CCcr3 (D8Mit33 LOD 3.15 second marker Chr 12 D12Mit60. LOD 1 .97), Sell (D1Mit424 LOD 2.91) and ll1b (D2Mit394 LOD 2.82)
