  The authors use the locus symbols LT-(beta) and LT-(alpha) for Tnfc and Tnfb respectively.
• Experiment
  A human TNFC probe was used in the hybridization analysis of several mouse genomic clones. The authors determined that the Tnfc gene is linked to the Tnfa and Tnfb genes, in a 5' to 3', 3' to 5' and 3' to 5' orientation respectively. Additional analysis placed Tnfc 2-3kb downstream of Tnfa.
