  • Experiment
    C57BL/6J-hg/hg male mice were crossed to CAST/EiJ mice producing F1 mice that were intercrossed producing a total of 404 progeny that were tested for markers on mouse Chromosome 10 for the purpose of interval mapping the hg locus (see Text Data 2). From the analysis of F2 female mice a genetic map was derived including in order the following loci: Centromere - D10Mit31 - 6.2 cM - D10Mit42 - 4.00 cM - Igf1 - 3.5 cM - D10Mit9 - 0.7 cM - D10Mit10 - 0.5 cM - D10Mit41 -3.2 cM - Dcn - 1.0 cM - D10Mit12 - 2.4 cM - D10Nds2 - 10.7 cM - D10Mit14 and in male F2 mice: Centromere - D10Mit31 - 8.4 cM - D10Mit42 - 3.6 cM - Igf1 - 1.3 cM - D10Mit9 - 0.8 cM - D10Mit10 - 1.6 cM - D10Mit41 - 3.0 cM - Dcn - 0.3 cM - D10Mit12 - 2.2 cM - D10Nds2 - 8.3 cM - D10Mit14.
