  • Experiment
    The 2x2 data was obtained from the combined analysis of 2 interspecific backcrosses. However the authors indicate that progeny of the M. spretus cross were tested only for inheritance of Ifg and Ggm2 and that 4 animals were recombinant between these loci. Consequently, the authors calculated the recombination frequency between Ifg and Ggm2 to be 4.3 +/- 2.1.
