Notes
  • Reference
    Authors use Bfo, Tu32, Tu42 and 525 for locus symbols Btn-rs1, D17Tu32A, D17Tu32B, D17Tu42A, D17Tu42B and D17Leh525 respectively.
  • Experiment
Physical mapping using overlapping clones was done to order the following loci in the H2-M region of mouse Chromosome 17: H2-T1, D17Tu32A, H2-M1, H2-M7-ps, H2-M8-ps, D17Tu32B, Btn-rs1, H2-M6-ps, H2-M4-ps, H2-M5, Mog, D17Tu42A, H2-M2, D17Leh525, H2-M3, D17Tu42B. FISHanalysis was done to test for chimerism, and the YACs ordered through the use of markers and L1-repeat fingerprinting. Several restriction maps are provided in the text.
