    One hundred five backcross mice derived from BALB/cByJ female mice mated to (BALB/cByJ x NOD/Bdc)F1 mice were used to map the gene encoding antigen specificity of T-cell clone BDC-6.9. Complete correlation was observed of the inheritance of the antigen phenotype with Chromosome 6 microsatellites D6Mit58 and D6Mit60. Thus, the gene (Ht6.9) associated with the expression of BDC-6.9 is within the telomeric region of Chromosome 6 bounded proximally by D6Mit25 and distally by D6Mit57.
