Bkm1 other Southern analysis and in situ hybridization, probe = C316
Notes
  • Experiment
Bkm-positive hybridization to the mouse Y-Chromosome was observed in various mitotic and meiotic chromsome preparations. Southern analysis revealed the absence of Bkm related fragments from XO teratocarcinoma cell line OC15S1, yet these fragments were present in cell line P19 which carries an X and a Y Chromosome. These findings are consistent with Bkm related sequences mapping to the mouse Y-Chromosome.
