  The authors isolated a 32kb cosmid clone containing Igkrs. Using exon trapping they were able to identify another locus, Rpia, 3' to Igkrs. Further analysis revealed that Rpia and Igkrs are physically linked within 14kb and are oriented 5' to 3' and 3' to 5' on Chromsome 6.
