  Somatic cell hybrids analyzed were 14 Chinese hamster V79/380-6 x mouse 3T3 cell lines and one rat x mouse hybrid cell line. All mouse specific Htr1c fragments were concordant with the X Chromosome in all hybrid lines. Regional mapping assigned the Htr1c locus to D-F4, distal to the T(X;16)16H breakpoint using somatic cell hybrids segregating this mouse translocation's products. Data not shown.
