DXHXS1104 reported elsewhere
Cetn2 Southern analysis Calt cDNA
Notes
  • Reference
Authors suggest that Calt is a good candidate for either the Bpa or Str mutations.
  • Experiment
The authors used the human Calt cDNA as a hybridization probe on Southern blot analysis containing mouse YACs from mouse Chromosome X. A positive band corresponding to Calt was identified on three overlapping murine YACs, C73E6, B16S5 and B10S3, which have been previously shown to extend distally from DXHXS1104. This data physically maps Cetn2 distal to DXHXS1104 on mouse Chromosome X.
