• Experiment
  In the BXD (C57BL/6J x DBA/2J)RI set the D17Pri5 and Pim1 loci had identical strain distribution patterns. Further analysis of D17Pri5 indicated that the sequences defining this locus were not deleted in the t^h20 deletion on mouse Chromosome 17. Collectively these results indicate D17Pri5 mapping between Nkx2-5, which is deleted in t^h20, and Pim1.
