Notes
  • Experiment
Congenic Intra H2 recombinant strains of mice were analyzed for susceptibility to experimental allergic encephalomyelitis as determined by the response to myelin basic protein (MBP). C57BL/10J, A/SW and B10.Y(6R) mice are resistant to MBP whereas B10.A and B10.PL are highly susceptible. The experiments indicated that control of the response to MBP is controlled by a region of mouse Chromosome 17 (Eae1) within the H2-I locus.
