• Experiment
  A genomic library of C57BL/6 liver DNA was peobed with an unspecified mixture of 16 Tcrb-V probes. Two positive clone hybridized to more than one specific Tcrb-V probe. Further analysis indicated that Tcrb-V1 and Tcrb-V10 genes are linked within 5kb of DNA on one clone (named Tcrb-V1/Tcrb-V10 genomic here) and that Tcrb-V4 and Tcrb-V16 are linked within 1kb of DNA on the other (named Tcrb-V4/Tcrb-V16 genomic here). Mention is made of a more recent analysis (unspecified) defining a Tcrb-V4 - Tcrb-V16 - Tcrb-V10 - Tcrb-V1 organization within 16kb of DNA (all genes sharing the same transcriptional orientation) on mouse Chromosome 6.
