Notes
  • Reference
    Author suggest that Il2, Fcgr1, Nramp1 and Tnfr2 may be candidate genes for Idd3, Idd10, Idd5 and Idd9 respectively.
  • Experiment
Analysis of 82 (NOD/Lt x NON.H2g7)F2 intercross and 245 (NOD/Lt x NON.H2g7)F1 x NOD/Lt backcross progeny indicate that the development of spontaneous diabetes (Idd3) is linked to Il2 (P = 0.0017 for backcross progeny, P = 0.064 for intercross progeny) on mouse Chromosome 3. Further analysis of the 82 intercross progeny show that Idd10 is statistically linked to Tshb, P = 0.044.
