• Experiment
  To verify that Ahc maps to mouse Chromosome X, equivalent amounts of genomic DAN from male and female mice were subjected to Southern blot analysis. DNA from male mice uniformly exhibited an autoradiographic intensity half of that of DNA from female micewhen hybridized to the Dax1 probe, demonstrating maintenance of the X-Chromosome locus.
