Notes
  • Reference
Authors state that Lyst is a candidate gene for bg. Data will be submitted to MGD under accession numbers MGD-CREX-615, MGD-PMEX-13 and MGD-PMEX-14 (through future associated papers).
  • Experiment
Analysis of progeny from a C57BL/6J-bgJ x (C57BL/6J-bgJ x CAST/EiJ)F1 backcross was used to map the bg critical region on mouse Chromosome 13. Microsatellite markers D13Mit172 and D13Mit239 flank bg proximally, while D13Mit162 and D13Mit305 lie distal to bg. This data gives the following gene order on mouse Chromosome 13: D13Mit172 - D13Mit239 - bg - D13Mit305 - D13Mit162.
