Notes
  • Reference
Authors uses the name pS19X foor S19.
  • Experiment
To physically map/orient Rps19X-ps1 realtive to Xist, the [l]3 clone (sequence known to contain the 5' portion of Xist) was digested with BglII (cuts once in the pseudogene) and probed with the A1 oligo (5' of the restriction site). Results suggested that Rps19X-ps1 is oriented centromere - 3' Rps19X-ps1 5' - telomere, with the 5' end of Rps19X-ps1 lying about 3.7kb from Xist on mouse Chromosome X.
