  Using recombinant t- haplotypes and a polymorphic (TG) microsatellite the mouse Pou5f1 locus was indicated as mapping between tcl12 and H2-Q on mouse Chromosome 17. Southern analysis of BALB/c and C3H DNA using an Oct-3 cDNA probe verified that Pou5f1 did map within the t-complex.
