  Orct was mapped to mouse Chromosome 17 with two somatic cell hybrids that either contain or lack mouse Chromosome 17. The results from this experiment show that the Orct probe hybridizes to a 15kb BamHI fragment in mouse DNA and in mouse hybrid cell lines containing mouse Chromosome 17.
