GeneAlleleAssay TypeDescription
Pkn1 direct sequencing Pkn cDNA, [l]XP5
Ptger1 direct sequencing [l]XP5
Notes
  • Experiment
A 10kb mouse genomic fragment (from clone [l]XP5) encoding the ep1 (currently Ptgerep1) gene was cloned into an expression vector in reverse orientation. A single 1.1kb cDNA fragment was amplified from RNA transfection products. By sequence analysis, theauthors concluded that the cloned cDNA encodes the mouse Pkn1 gene at the Ptgerep1 locus, overlapping in a tail to tail manner on mouse Chromosome 8.
